<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder, stably supplying paper and especially suitable for a retard roll. <P>SOLUTION: In this paper feeder, a feed roll 60 has a half-moon roll 64 provided with a friction member 74 and a roller 66b. The roller 66b has an eccentricity (e) from the center of the half-moon roll 64, and the space between the periphery of the half-moon roll 64 and the periphery of the roller 66 is filled with flattening parts 90a, 90b, whereby the vertical motion of the retard roll 62 is lessened to reduce a change in position of a lip part 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
