<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet inverting device and an image forming device capable of making a buffer ring control by installing a buffer ring means while the increase of cost of the sheet inverting device is avoided. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet inverting device is composed of a sheet inverting means having an inverting roller 2 and inverting motor 4, a sheet ejection transport means having an inversive sheet ejection roller 3 and inversive sheet ejection motor 5, a sheet inlet guide means having a flapper 6, inversive sheet ejection sensor 9, and inversive inlet sensor 10, and a sheet ejection guide means having a counterflow preventive flapper 11. The sheet is transported to a finisher part 50 via a straight path 8 when not inverted, and via an inverting path 7 when inverted. The transporting timing toward the turn-back position by the sheet ejection transport means is synchronized with the operating timing of the sheet inverting means, and the following sheet is overlapped on the held sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
