<p>The brewing apparatus for an electrical coffee machine has a casing unit (5) and a plunger unit (6), which are horizontally movable in a housing (3). In the casing unit between the plunger and a water feed unit (4) a large chamber is formed, into which ground coffee beans can be filled through an aperture (514) in the casing unit. The beams are then pressed together by the casing unit and the plunger unit and then hot water can be conducted into a small chamber in the casing unit between the casing unit and the water feed unit. This produces brewed coffee, which flows out of the plunger unit. Finally, the casing unit is moved away from the plunger unit, so that the used ground coffee falls away from a space between the casing unit and the plunger unit.</p> |
