<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent generation of abnormal noise due to rattling of a backrest in simple and low-cost constitution in a vehicle seat lock device. <P>SOLUTION: This lock device comprises a fork 3 provided with a holding groove 13 for a striker 7 to be engaged and held in a case 2, and rotatable between a lock position and a lock-off position, and a lock plate rotatable between a regulating position to regulate rotation of the fork 3 from the lock position toward the lock-off position and a regulation canceling position to allow rotation of it from the lock position to the lock-off position. It is also provided with a control member 5 to hold the fork 3 at an over-rotation position when it is over-rotated while regulating restoring rotation toward the lock position, and cancel regulation of rotation to the fork 3 when it starts rotating from the lock position to the lock-off position. When the fork 3 is over-rotated, restoration rotation of the fork 3 to the lock position is regulated by the control member 5, thereby generation of abnormal noise due to restoration rotation of the fork 3 can be preliminarily and securely prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
