<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the frequency of the breakage of a weak part by freely dropping a closing member when the detection sensor of a vehicle is operated. <P>SOLUTION: This parking place gate comprises a pair of right and left poles vertically installed at intervals allowing a vehicle to pass therein, sliders 4 vertically movably installed along the side faces of the poles, a motor 7 with a brake lifting the sliders, the closing member 5 installed across the right and left sliders and having at least one end connected to the sliders through the weak part 11, and a non-contact sensor detecting the presence of the vehicle between the poles. The motor with the brake is formed so that the brake is turned on when it is not driven and turned off when it is driven. Also, the motor is not driven when the non-contact sensor is operated for detection while the closing member is rising or lowering, and the brake is turned off to controllably fall the closing member by its own weight. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
