PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution for giving function of a hammer for destroying glass to an inner handle attached to a pillar trim in order to escape from an automobile at emergency. SOLUTION: The inner handle attachment structure for the automobile is such a structure that the automobile inner handle comprising a grip part and an attachment end vertically bent from both side ends of the grip part is attached to the pillar trim, and is characterized in that it comprises a head breaker of high strength material integrally formed on the attachment end of the inner handle; a lock means rotatably inserted/attached to the attachment end and a peripheral surface of the head breaker; a stop means for restricting rotation of the lock means inserted/attached to the attachment end; and attachment ports formed on the pillar trim and a vehicle body panel positioned on the inner side such that a front end of the lock means is separably inserted/attached thereto.
