PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating liquid forming a protective layer of a vapor-deposited film having resistance to solvents used in a printing ink, slightly causing leveling trouble after transfer of the printing ink, affording an excellent print and preventing the lowering of gas barrier properties of a vapor-deposited thin-film layer by printing. SOLUTION: The coating liquid comprises a poly(meth)acrylic acid or an acrylic or a methacrylic acid/an acrylic ester or a methacrylic ester copolymer containing≥10 mass% of the acrylic acid or methacrylic acid and a polyurethane-urea resin having ether bonds as film-forming components.
