<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment apparatus for painting, which saves the space by curtailing treatment steps, improves the productivity, and reduces costs of facilities and treating agents, man-hours of supervision, and a burden of effluent treatment. <P>SOLUTION: This pretreatment apparatus comprises a treatment tank 1 provided with a gutter 41 for receiving an overflowed degreasing and chemical conversion treatment liquid; and an overflow means 400 which temporarily stores the degreasing and chemical conversion treatment liquid overflowed from the treatment tank 1, and has an oil content removing tank 42 for removing an oil content contained therein. The pretreatment apparatus further comprises a first circulating system 11 which circulates the treatment liquid in the treatment tank 1 and returns it to the tank; and (1) a dust removing device 2 which removes dust contained in the treatment liquid, (2) a conversion coating sludge removing device 3 which removes the conversion coating sludge contained in the treatment liquid, (3) an oil-content removing device 4 which removes an oil content contained in the treatment liquid, (4) a treatment liquid feeding tank which supplies the new treatment liquid to the treatment tank, (5) a water-polar organic solvent separation unit 5 which separates the treatment liquid into the water content and a polar organic solvent, and returns the polar organic solvent to the circulating system, and (6) an ion removing device 7 which removes the ionic content from the water content separated by the water-polar organic solvent separation unit, and returns the left water to the treatment liquid feeding tank 6, which are arranged in circulating systems. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
