PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a glass substrate capable of reducing breakage of the glass substrate, while heightening productive efficiency of the glass substrate.SOLUTION: A production method of a glass substrate includes a heat treatment process of the glass substrate molded by a down-draw method. In the heat treatment process, the glass substrate is suspended by holding the upper end part of the glass substrate by a holding member, and the glass substrate is heat-treated, while conveying the glass substrate along a conveyance direction. In the heat treatment process, the glass substrate has a main surface bended protrusively along the conveyance direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
