<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seam joint dismantling machine which is available for dismantling an enclosure such as a roof and a wall, formed of seamed folded plate building boards, in a manner easily and quickly disconnecting a connection at a seam joint portion, and to provide a seam joint dismantling method for the seamed enclosure. <P>SOLUTION: The seam joint dismantling machine is formed of: a receiving roll 1 of an almost truncated conical shape which has a progressively increased diameter at a lower location; and a pressing roll 3 of an almost disk shape. Herein a lower corner of a peripheral surface 31a of the pressing roll 3 can be approached and fixed to an almost intermediate location of an inclined side surface 11a of the receiving roll 1 in a height direction, and the receiving roll 1 and the pressing roll 3 are made openable/closable.
