PROCESS FOR PREPARATION OF 2-METHYL-2'-PHENYLPROPIONIC ACID DERIVATIVES AND NOVEL INTERMEDIATE COMPOUNDS

A method for manufacturing a 2-methyl-2-phenylpropionic acid derivative having anti-histamine activity is provided to improve yield and purity of anti-histamine compound and produce the compound. A 2-methyl-2-phenylpropionic acid derivative of the chemical formula 1 is produced by reacting a compound of the chemical formula 2 and a compound of the chemical formula 3. The reaction product is additionally treated through ester hydrolysis. The compound of the chemical formula 2 is a compound of the chemical formula 2a. A method for producing the compound of the chemical formula 2a: a step of reacting a compound of the chemical formula 4 and a compound of the chemical formula 5 to form a compound of the chemical formula 6; and a step of substituting -OB residue with X residue to form the compound of the chemical formula 2a.
