<p>Title cpds. are of formula (I): (where R = H, Me, or MeCO; R1 = H or 1-4C alkyl; and R2 and R3 = H, Me or Et, and are prepd. from a 21,5,9 alpha-substd. 6,7-benzomorphan; (a) by reacting with a furyl trimethylammonium salt; and modifying R and R3 as required, or (b) by condensing with a Hofmann eliminatable gp., quaternising with a halomethylfuran, and heating with strong base (Hofmann elimination), opt. followed by modifying R and/or R3.</p> |
