The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion comprising: (A) at least 5% by weight of water relative to the total weight of the composition; (B) alkylcellulose, the alkyl residue of which comprises between 2 and 6 carbon atoms; (C) at least one non-volatile hydrocarbon-based or silicone oil; (D) at least one hydrocarbon-based resin with a number-average molecular weight of less than or equal to 10 000 g/mol. The invention also relates to a process for making up and/or caring for the lips, in which the abovementioned composition is applied.
