<p>Instrument for measuring the B-H curve of a ring shaped hard magnetic element. The system offers the means of performing a large amount of measurements on a mass production basis. It consists of a pair of cylindrical cores (1, 2) with a yoke (3), which are supplied with high current via a pair of conductors (4, 5). The cores are surrounded by a holder (6) with components of the measuring loops, (7, 8 and 9, 10). The ring under test fits into a circular slot, (11, 12). The current loop is closed by a pair of moving contacts (15, 16), which link a pair of twisted conductors (13, 14). The supply and induced voltages are connected to the deflection plates of a cathode ray oscilloscope.</p> |
