The system has movably designed platforms which possess in each case one drive motor (52) which moves in conjunction with platform movement and has an electric feed cable (36). Beneath each platform there is installed a drum-like winding element (35) for the automatic winding-up and unwinding of the feed cable (36) during displacement of the platform (3). The feed cable (36) is then virtually invisible from the outside and is also not exposed to danger of any kind. It is also not possible for operation to be disturbed by the cable. The extended portion (36a) of the cable can be laid, for example, on a guide rail (31) beneath the platform (3). <IMAGE>
