<p>A resin having a formula of WHEREIN EACH OF R1, R2, R3 and R4 is a hydrogen atom or methyl group, R5 represents a hydrogen atom or alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and four R5's may be the same or different, R6 is an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, n is 0 or an integer of 1 to 5 and X is -CN, -CONH2, -COOM or -COORa, M being a hydrogen atom, alkali metal, -NH4 or organic amine residue, Ra being an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and a method for manufacturing the same said resin being useful as substitutes for rosin and its derivatives.</p> |
