发明名称 Improvements in the manufacture or treatment of textile materials and of films, foils and the like
摘要 <p>The tendency of yarns, films, fabrics, and like materials to become charged with electricity during manufacture or use is reduced by the application to the materials of a salt of an aliphatic diamine which contains two basic amino groups. In the case of artificial yarns or films the diamine salt may be added to the solution from which the materials are made. The salts may be those of ethylene diamine, trimethylene-, tetramethylene-, or pentamethylene diamine, or homologues or substitution derivatives thereof. The acid radicle of the salt may be that of gallic, p tannic, salicylic, tartaric, lactic, citric, or boric acid. The salt may be used in conjunction with lubricatingagents such as olive oil, castor oil, or rape seed oil, including blown or sulphonated oils, or a mineral or animal oil, or glycol, glycerol, or the oleates or stearates of glycol and glycerol. Materials of wool, cotton, silk, flax, regenerated cellulose, or cellulose esters or ethers may be treated. Fabrics treated may consist of different kinds of yarn. The diamine salt may be applied to the materials from solution or dispersion in polyhydric alcohols. The solution may be applied by a wick, roller, drip-tube, or pad. Fabrics after treatment, may subsequently be coated with rubber latex, resins, or lacquers in the production of waterproof materials. Diamino derivatives of triphenyl methane or other colouring substance may be added to the aliphatic diamine salt. In an example, cellulose acetate filaments are passed from a dry-spinning cell over a wick supplied with olive oil and ethylene diamine borate. In another example ethylene diamine tartrate is added to a spinning solution of cellulose acetate in acetone. In another example, cellulose acetate filaments are led over a wick supplied with diethylene glycol, water, and ethylene diamine citrate. Specification 366,585 is referred to.ALSO:Yarns, films, fabrics, and like materials are treated with a salt of an aliphatic diamine which contains two basic amino groups, in order to reduce the tendency of the materials to become charged with electricity.
