Dazzle free light fitting with housing - is fitted with two parabolic reflectors and light absorbing surfaces

Lamp consisting of a light source (12) enclosed by a cover surface (33) and with parabolic reflecting surfaces (18, 19, 21, 22) positioned on at least two sides opposite to the light source so that their focal points coincide. The lamp also includes a number of light absorbing surfaces (25) located between the reflecting surfaces (21, 22) close to the lamp surface (33) and radial to the light source. This cuts out most of the light which emanates in a tangential direction from the lamp surface (33) thus obviating any dazzle throughout the reflected light areas. Used typically in fluorescent tube assemblies.
