PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacture orocess through the simultaneous formation of an electrode and light-reflection protective film by adhering a metal film to the photo detection surface of the photoelectric converting element to which a PN junction is formed, and by oxidizing the metal film after selectively forming an electrode pattern on it.
