<p>PURPOSE:To permit a cable to be always advanced straight with respect to a pay- off device by providing a pay-off device capable of varying the angle of the cable with respect to the ground and a pay-off device capable of varying of the horizontal angle according to the movement of the cable. CONSTITUTION:A pay-off device 5 is provided on a vartical angle support 12 for vertical pivotal movement with respect to a base 7 such that its angle with respect to the ground can be freely varied by an oil hydraulic cylinder 9 and an oil hydraulic device provided between it and base 7. A guide means 10 is provided below the front end of the pay-off device 5, and wheels 14 provided on the underside of the pay-off device are received in the guide means so that the horizontal angle of the pay-off device 5 can be freely varied by a horizontal angle support 11 according to the movement of the cable. With this construction, the cable can always be permitted to advance straight with respect to the pay-off device, so tha it is possible to prevent irrational bending of the cable or detachment threreof from a drum.</p> |
