<p>PURPOSE:To insure safety for an intersecting wall type low-temperature storage tank against all cases by fitting an elastic bracket on the side of the intersecting wall by means of a short anchor bolt. CONSTITUTION:In this low-temperature storage tank, elastic bracket 7 is fitted to intersecting wall 5 under the condition of compression by means of anchor bolt 8, which is shorter than the gap between this intersecting wall 5 and inner tank wall 2. For this reason, even if inner tank wall 2 is displaced by the amount of delta due to the operation of the storage tank, elastic bracket 7 fills the gap between intersecting wall 5 and inner tank wall 2. Even if a breakage occurred on intersecting wall 5, perlite particles 3 filled in the gap between intersecting wall 5 and outer tank wall 1 are obstructed by the above-mentioned elastic bracket 7 and do not flow into the gap between inner tank wall 2 and intersecting wall 5. As a result, no sinking phenomenon takes place.</p> |
