PURPOSE:To reduce the loss and elevate the efficiency of a transformer by a method wherein an upper face plate member of oil room at the lower part of tank is made with an insulator to decrease the part generating local overheating. CONSTITUTION:An upper part projection 14 is formed at the upper end of lower part core tightening metal fitting 6, and an upper face plate member 7 made with an insulating material is put on the upper part projection 14. The end part of upper face plate member in the neighborhood of side plate of tank 1 is fastened on an inside supporter 10 putting a gasket between them. Namely in this construction, the upper face plate member 7 extended up to present from the upper end of lower part core tightening metal fitting 6 to the neighborhood of side plate of tank 1 is shortened like the upper part projection 14, and an insulator 8 under coil 3 is formed with an insulating material like a reinforced wood, etc., to make the plate member 7. By this way, the part generating local overheating is vanished reducing the loss to elevate the efficiency of transformer. |
