<p>The 3-chloro-4-cyclohexyphenylglycolic acid is prepared by chlorinating 4-cyclohexylacetophenone to form the 4-cyclohexyl-3,.alpha.,.alpha.-trichloroacetophenone which upon treatment with an alkaline earth metal hydroxide yeild the desired compound which is useful in the treatment of inflammation.</p> |
