PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of a picture quality, by making a reference signal from a horizontal synchronizing signal separated from a reproducing video signal, generating a sampling pulse, sampling the reproducing video signal by said pulse, and correcting the jitters of a reproducing picture. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium is scanned by a laser light beam, an FM signal is obtained from the photoelectric converter 1, it is provided to the FM demodulator 4 through the preamplifier 2 and the limiter 3, and a video signal is demodulated. A horizontal synchronizing signal is separated from a reproducing video signal by the separating circuit 5. And the PLL circuit generates a sampling pulse which has divided the space of the horizontal synchronizing signal into N, and provides it to the A/D converter 11. The A/D converter 11 samples the reproducing video signal by the sampling pulse, converts it to the digital information, and the picture information of one scanning line portion each is stored in order to the line buffer 12. This picture information is read out in order, is transferred to the recording device, and it is reproduced and output as a hard copy. |
