<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a vertical shift and step-out of a reproduced picture when an edited tape is reproduced by recording pictures while putting the synchronizing signal of a reproduced video signal at a recorded part in phase with that of a recorded video signal. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic heads 3A and 3B fitted to the rotary drum are rotated by drum motor 2 and on a magnetic tape, a track with a prescribed track is formed to record and reproduce a video signal. Drum motor 2 has its speed controlled by FG4, speed servo circuit 5, etc. Phases of rotation of magnetic heads 3A and 3B are detected by PG head 8, whose output PG signal is supplied to phase servo circuit 9. Phase servo circuit 9 is supplied with vertical synchronizing signal REC- VD in recording or external reference signal X-VD or reproduced CTL signal in reproduction. For tape editing in insertion more or assembling mode, the vertical synchronizing signal of a video signal to be recorded is supplied to circuit 9 for phase matching with a recorded signal.</p> |
