<p>PURPOSE:To improve a flexibility and endurability, by a method wherein a coarse tape-shaped member, consisting of a stringy strand, is wound in a spiral around an outer circumference surface of a metal flexible tube rolled in a spiral to form a reinforcing layer, and an elastic synthetic resin cover is laid monolithically thereupon. CONSTITUTION:A properly coarse tape-shaped member 5, consisting of a stringy strand 4, is wound in a sprial on an outer circumference surface of a metal flexible tube 1, wherearound a metal strand 2 is wound in a spiral, so that a part of an adjoining member 5 is overlapped on the member 5, and thus, a reinforcing layer 3 is formed. An elastic synthetic resin cover 7, which sufficiently enters into gaps in the meshes of the stringy strands 4 and is united monolithically so that it is embedbed into a thickness, is laid on the layer 3 to obtain a flexible tube. This causes the cover 7 to be united monolithically with the reinforcing layer 3, whereby the production of cracks at the cover 7 at a low temperature time can be prevented and permits the prevention of the entry of rain and water into the inside of the conduit when a part of the conduit is damaged.</p> |
