PURPOSE:To reduce the manpower required for the adjustment of magnetic polarization and to prevent considerable reduction of magnetic field produced through the adjustment of magnetic polarization, by providing a magnetic shunt of ferite rubber chip on the outer circumferential face of a cylindrical permanent magnet or a pole piece. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic field focusing device 1 has such structure that the magnetic poles of a cylindrical permanent magnet 2 are faced alternatively while pole pieces 3 of magnetic member are placed at both end faces of the magnet 2, and ferite rubber chips 4 having different dimension are fixed on the outer circumferential face of the permanent magnet 2 or the pole piece 3. The magnetic flux 10 passing through the outer circumference at the portion where the flux density is high due to magnetic polarization is magnetically shunted by the ferite rubber chip 4 to make the distribution of the magnetic flux uniform. |
