PURPOSE:To obtain the head of low cost less in the dispersion, by fixing wear- resistant magnetic block which is obtained through the forming and calcining of silica and clay composition added with suitable amount of additive such as Mg, to the upper and lower part of the front core of magnetic head for V.T.R. CONSTITUTION:A composition mixed with silica taking SiO2 as major component and clay such as woody clay added with a suitable amount of additives like Mg, Ca, Zn, Co, Mn, P, Ni and the like, is formed with compression and calcined into a wear-resistant porcelain blocks 2f, 2f, and they clip the upper or lower part of the front core 2b of the head 2 of an erasing head 1 for fixture. This head 2 is bonded with a front core 2b and a back core 2c with the coil 2a, and it is finished by inserting the block 2f to the main body after fixing and polishing the tape sliding surface 3b. The cost can be lowered since less components are used than conventional heads and no nonmagnetic ferrite which is expensive is employed for the block 2f. |
