A goods handling device, in particular for vehicles and consisting of a rotatable carrying pillar 3 mounted on a body 1 or similar for a vehicle, said pillar displaceably carrying a horizontal profile 4 having a guide 26 provided in its free end, said guide containing a piston- cylinder unit, preferably hydraulically actuatable, and nearly fully encompassed by a lifting profile 30 which is vertically displaceable upwards and downwards relative to the guide 26. The piston-cylinder unit 32 is fixedly or through joints mounted inside the guide 26, and its piston part 33 extend downwards and is fastened to any part of the lifting profile 30. In order to let the horizontal profile 4 extend through the lifting profile 30, the lifting profile 30 is designed along its surface facing the carrying pillar 3 with a longitudinal slit 38, and at one or more points along its height, the lifting profile 30 is provided with lifting tackle or fastening elements, preferably quick-acting couplings 31 for such lifting tackle. The horizontal profile 4 as well as its retainer 16 at the carrying pillar 3, the guide 26 and the lifting profile 30 preferably have square or rectangular cross sections. <IMAGE> |
