PURPOSE:To prevent contamination minimizing the flying of inks by closing a solenoid valve detecting a drop in the ink pressure so as to halt the ink supply to a head section when a leakage takes place at the head section. CONSTITUTION:When an ink leakage takes place at a head section 8, a ink pressure drops between an accmulator 4 and a three-way solenoid valve 6 and the drop in the pressure is detected with a pressure detector 10 to send a detection signal to a control circuit 11. After amplified with an amplifier 12, the signal is inputted into a comparator 13 to be compared with a reference preset by a reference setting circuit 14. When a signal is inputted below the reference pressure or lowering at a rate larger than that at which the reference pressure does, the comparator 13 outputs a control signal to close the three-way solenoid valve 6 thereby halting the supply of ink to a head section. |
