Accelerating the curing of concrete or other similar cast material comprises dehumidifying and dewatering the material before and/or during the curing. The dehumidifying and dewatering arrangement is housed in a closed unit which is connected to the curing container. The arrangement has an air tight closed unit including a plant for air circulation, heat prod., and dewatering together with a unit for control equipment. This controls the environmental conditions in the curing container to give the quickest curing conditions for the particular cast structure. Used for rapid setting of concrete.
