<p>The stop key is for wind musical instruments. A cover blocks an opening in the instrument and gives a note. A hinge, and arm or lever joins the stop to the hinge. The arm (13) and the hinge (16) are of a width at least equal to the stop (11). The arm is in several parts between the stop and the hinge. These parts have a spacing at least as wide as the part of the stopper sealing the opening. These parts are virtually rectangular, and the largest dimension is perpendicular to the stop.</p> |
