PURPOSE:To enable the height of an automobile to be smoothly adjusted even when the automobile is travelling on a rough road, by integrating retaining periods of signals each representing a region of body height, and adjusting the body height when the integrated value exceeds a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:Photosensors 101, 102 are provided in a height detector to output signals in accordance to the current height, and a signal processing circuit 200 outputs clock pulses to (c) when the current height is high, while to (d) when the current height is intermediate, and to (e) when the height is low. Counters C01 through C03 of a height control designaing apparatus 300 count these pulses. A flip flop FF1 will be set by a signal from the counter C01, and will be reset by a signal from the counter C02 or C03. Accordingly, an electromagnetic valve 403 connected to a suspension apparatus 600 is operated according to the integrated value of the retaining period of the height level, and similarly a compressor 502 is operated according to the low level. |
