<p>The coupling between a motor and a dental handpiece incorporating an integrated spray, has the joints fitted in annular grooves in the motor boss to form seals between internal passages for air and water. Each joint (1) is fitted in a groove (2) of polygonal section, open on the one side at the face (3) towards the handpiece socket, and on the opposite side (4) to form an outlet for a medium under pressure. The groove can be of pentagonal section, and the medium can be compressed air from an independent passage.</p> |
