PURPOSE:To drain from a vessel automatically during navigation by connecting an exhaust passage with a check valve to a exhaust port provided on a transom board. CONSTITUTION:A gutter 3 is formed around a floor 2 in a cockpit, and an exhaust hole 6 is formed penetrating beneath a transom board 1 at nearly the same level as the gutter 3. A cylindrical exhaust passage 5 is fitted to the rear side of the exhaust hole 6 with a screw 51. The end opening 50 of this exhaust passage 5 is constituted so as to face backword and downward from the vessel, and a check valve made of a valve plate 8 is fitted to the base section of the exhaust passage 5, preventing the water driven inward through the exhaust passage 5 from entering into the vessel. According to this constitution, when the vessel starts navigating, the water in the exhaust passage 5 can be sucked out by an action of an water current A. |
