PURPOSE:To enable temperature increase in the inside of a heating chamber and curtailment of a heating period, by providing a high-frequency heating device and an electric heating device and a switch which actuates both the devices simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A magnetron 4 and its driving power source 5 are provided at the exterior part of a heating chamber 3 which is inside a cooking device housing 1 so that a high-frequency by means of the magnetron 4 can be irradiated into the heating chamber 3 from a waveguide 6, an electric heater 10 covered with a cover 9 which is prevented from the high-frequency's invading is provided on an upper lid 7 of the heating chamber, which enables heating of a material to be heated 2 by electric heating. This electric heater 10 is constituted by winding a heating wire 11 the surface of which is formed by coating with spray welding of thickness of scores of microns of ceramics 12 containing Al2O3 and TiO2 round a ceramic pipe 14 in a coillike condition. Then, at the time of cooking both the heating devices 4 and 10 shall be operated simultaneously for cooking. |
