PURPOSE:To measure latex cohesion without emptying the supernatant liquid into another vessel, by using a rotary cuvette combinedly used as a vessel for separation of a cohesion block of the reaction liquid and a cuvette for measurement. CONSTITUTION:A cell 11 of a rotary cuvette is fixed on a rotor 2 and the rotor 2 is driven by a motor 3. The rotor 2 is rotated in high speed after the sample liquid and a latex reagent are injected into the cell 11 and are mixed and then, are reacted. At this time, cohered block is gathered at the bottom of the cell 11. Next, the rotor 2 is rotated in low speed and the measurement of intensity of transmitted light is carried out under this number of revolutions. Light emitted from a light source 1 reaches a photodetector 5 passing through a lens 3 and a supernatant part of the reaction liquid in the cell 11. A signal corresponding to the intensity of transmitted light is inputted into an operational processing device 7 by a detector 5. |
