PURPOSE:To regulate automatically play in a braking operating apparatus for an autobicycle, and to secure the transmitting strength of a braking force, by threading a regulating bolt by an abnormal movement of an inner wire to absorb the play, and controlling the final regulating position to a bolt threading allowance securing position. CONSTITUTION:By braking operation, the inner wire Wi is pulled to the left, and an actuator 18 rotates a lever 12 clockwise through a receiving piece of the lever 12. When the play of the inner wire Wi becomes at least a prescribed value, the rotation of the lever 12 is increased, and a click 15 is rotated by one pitch or more of the teeth 1 of a ratchet 11. Accordingly, when the braking is released, an adjuster 8 is rotated via the ratchet 11 to extrude the regulating bolt 2 so that the inner wire Wi is retracted to regulate the play. When the final regulating position is attained, an engaging step section 5 of the bolt 2 abuts on a stopper surface 6 to limit the regulation thereafter, and at this time the threading allowance of a thread end 3 of the bolt 2 and a female thread 8a is enough to endure the braking force. |
