This invention is concerned with a device which prevents high energy due to lightening or chassis voltage from going to T. V. set. The device has the lst transmission line and the 2nd tranmission line, which have the 1st conductor(111a, 121a), and 2nd conductor(112a, 122a) respectively. The transmission lines are wound N times to the same direction on the closed-loop core(130). The winding number(N) is selected to provide appropriate frequency-response over the VHF band. The core is made from a magnetic substance, whose permeability is inversely proportional to frequency and selected to provide good frequency-response over the whole VHF band.
