<p>A method and an apparatus for cleaning teeth are disclosed. A pressurized stream of air is delivered to an enclosure surrounding a supply source of particles of anhydrous, water-soluble abrasive material to effect the introduction of the particles into the stream of air. A nozzle arrangement directs the abrasive-laden stream toward the surface of a tooth to be cleaned concurrently with a stream of water, both streams being directed to a common target area of the tooth.</p> |
