<p>A continuous sugar centrifuge for fillmasses or massecuites, comprising a spinning basket enlarged towards the discharge end, an accelerating device located on the hub of the spinning basket, an open gap (8) being provided around the bell (7) of said device which gap, in use, is traversed by freely flying fillmass or massecuites composition, and a feed device for a cover fluid having a conduit with at least one outlet, and leading into the spinning basket, is characterised by the feature that the conduit (10) is located above said gap (8) and the outlet or outlets (11) thereof are adapted to direct the jets (13) of cover fluid from above against the freely flying fill mass or massecuite composition traversing said open gap (8), to ensure uniform mixing thereof before centrifuging. <IMAGE></p> |
