<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled means which enables to project energy saving and to lower its running cost, by utilizing the residual pressure of discharged brine branched from circulating brine as a driving power source for a liquid- sucking means. CONSTITUTION:Brine in the final-stage flash evaporating chamber 3 at the heat- rejecting part 1 of the multi-stage flash evaporating arrangements is circulated through a pipe 8 to a heat-recovering part 2 by a circulating pump 7, and its part is discharged through a brine-discharging pipe 9 at a rate corresponding to the make-up amount of sea water supplied through a make-up line by a sea water-supply pump 5 to adjust concentration. The energy retained in the discharged brine having pressure of about 5kg/cm<2> is utilized to drive a water ejector 10. Consequently, a load on the circulating pump 7 is alleviated by sucking the discharged brine through the first liquid-sucking pipe 12, or a water- discharging pump is unnecessitated by discharging water in a water-discharging pit 11 through the second liquid-sucking pipe 13.</p> |
