PURPOSE:To sufficiently protect a switching regulator by dividing a voltage by inserting a series resistor to a ripple removing capacitor and connecting a constant-voltage element in parallel therewith, thereby reducing the charging voltage. CONSTITUTION:A switching regulator is composed of the first voltage stabilizer 100 and the second voltage stabilizer 200. The first voltage stabilizer 100 has an input side rectifier 2, an oscillator 3, an output transformer 4, an output side rectifier 6, a pulse width controller 8 and an overvoltage protecting circuit 11. The second stabilizer 200 further stabilizes the output voltage of the first stabilizer 100. In an oscillator 3, a resistor R11 and a capacitor C3 forming a noise ripple filter are connected in parallel with each other at both ends of a current limiting resistor R10, and in order to further maintain the charging voltage to the capacitor C3 constant, a Zener diode ZD3 is connected. |
