PURPOSE:To contrive an improvement of an engine output, by a method wherein a connecting rod is provided on the surface of a wheel inserted in a cylindrical box, a crankshaft is connected with the connecting rods and the crankshaft is turned by the repeating motion of the wheel. CONSTITUTION:A convex part is provided on the inner circumference of a cylindrical box 1 in which a wheel 2 is put. The wheel 2 provided with a convex part on a part of the external circumference is made to carry out suction and compression. A connecting rod 4 is provided on the surface of the wheel 2 and the connecting rod 4 is connected with a connecting rod 5. A connecting part between the connecting rods 4 and 5 moves up and down vertically. A ventilating hole 7 is provided on the box 1. A suction stroke is done when the crankpin comes to the lower position after the crankshaft makes half a turn and a compression stroke is done by its next half a turn. An output to be gained by this method becomes more than that to be gained by a conventional piston system as the crankshaft is turned by repeating motion of half a turn of the wheel 2 like this. |
