PURPOSE:To obtain the effective electric power generating device with a simple structure by a method wherein the device is provided with an electric power generating tank equipped with the flow path of vertical direction at the lower part thereof, and a sea water receiving tank at the upper part thereof, an electric power generating unit near the lower end of the flow path and a means to discharge the sea water in the sea water receiving tank by utilizing wave motion, wind force or the like. CONSTITUTION:The electric power generating tank 1 has a funnel-shaped configuation and the sea water receiving tank 2 is formed at the upper part thereof while a communicating path 3 is connected to the central bottom part of the receiving tank 2 and, further a small flow path 4 is connected to the communicating path 3. The electric power generating unit 5 is provided at the inside of the lower end of the small flow path 4. A wheel 7, rotated by the wave motion, is provided at the outer periphery of the sea water receiving tank 2 to drive a pump P and a compressor C. Sea water, entering into the small flow path 4 through a filter 6, generates an electric power at the electric power generating unit 5 and, thereafter, enters into the sea water receiving tank 2, further, is discharged onto the sea level through a suction pipe 8, the pump P and a water discharging pipe 9. |
