PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a camera, by providing a white detecting region at all surface or a part in a photographic picture angle and adjusting automatically the ratio of three color signals corresponding to the region when a white object comes to the region, for making the adjustment of white balance easy. CONSTITUTION:A detecting region set means 16 is operated synchronizingly with a horizontal and a vertical synchronizing signal, an index pulse 2 to set a white detecting resion 18 is generated in the photographic picture angle 17 and applied to a detecting area display means 16 for display. Further, the index pulse 2 is applied to a white balance control means 19 inputting the three color signals 20, the ratio of the three color signals 20 is changed at the period corresponding to the region 18 and the adjustment is done so that the picture corresponding to the region 18 is a white color on a TV receiver. The adjusted output is outputted to the succeeding signal processing circuit, a signal 23 corresponding to the difference signal is applied to an error detecting means 22, the error signal 24 detected at the detecting means 22 is displayed on an error display means 25 for simplifying the adjustment of white balance. |
