PURPOSE:To prevent quality of a tire from being lowered due to irregulartity in wall thickness of a bladder, by a method wherein expanding of bead seats in the radial direction of a forming drum, sealing of a shaping air and clamping of the bead seats are simultaneously performed by a pair of bladders. CONSTITUTION:A green tire T is inserted between bead seats 20, 20' in a contracted condition, is expanded by supplying compressed air into bladder 30, 30' through an air passage 3 provided in an inner shaft 1 and passages 35, 35' provided in bladder-clamping rings 31, 31', the bead seats 20, 20' are expanded in the radial direction until they come into contact with adjusting screws 18, 18', and a bead part B is maintained by the bead seats 20, 20' and the bladders 30, 30'. Then, the inner shaft 1 and an outer shaft 2 are moved inwards in the axial direction to cause the bead seats 20, 20' to approach each other, compressed air is supplied through a passage 4 provided in the shaft 1 to shape the tire T into a toroidal shape, then a belt-tread annual body is brought into close contact therewith. |
