PURPOSE:To realize the mass-production of a resonator of a small size and high accuracy by providing two oscillator electrode sections to one side of a piezoelectric substrate and counter electrode sections to other side. CONSTITUTION:Plural sets of electrodes 12 are formed on one side of a mother piezoelectric substrate 11. The electrode 12 consists of a vibrating electrode section 13, an extracting terminal section 14 and a lead-out section 15. The lead-out section 15 is formed by a longitudinal lead-out section 15a prolonged in parallel with the terminal section 14 and a lateral lead-out section 15b having folds and makes an L-shaped detour around the electrode section. The length of the extracting section 15 is determined so that the solder connecting a lead to the extracting terminal section 14 is not prolonged to the electrode section. Counter electrodes 16 are proided at a position corresponding to the vibrating electrode section on the other side of the mother piezoelectric substrate 11. One piezoelectric oscillator 17 is cut out by cutting longitudinally and laterally the mother piezoelectric substrate 11. |
