PURPOSE:To heighten the performance of a vane pump and reduce its size and weight, by finishing the front surface of the front lid of a motor to a sufficient accuracy of squareness to the axis of rotation and assembling a pump base, a casing, etc. one after another on the finished surface. CONSTITUTION:The front surface 91 of the front lid 9 of a motor B is finished to a sufficient accuracy of squareness to the axis of rotation. A pump base 5, a casing 12, etc. are assembled one after another on the finished surface 91 to constitute an integrated vane pump. Due to this reason, the performance of the pump is very high, its size and weight are small and its cost is relatively low. A sealing sheet 6 is interchangeably secured on the pump base 5 so that the sheet projects in the central part of the pump base. Flat contact sealants 103 fitted on a rotary shaft 10 performs sealing on both the sides of the sheet 6 to eliminate a fear of fluid leak to provide a good volumetric efficiency for a low- viscosity fluid such as an organic solvent, as well. Dynamic pressure causing grooves 31 are provided on both the sides of each vane 3 to attain an excellent sealing effect as well as the smooth motion of the vane.
