The adaptive reception of radio signals of the type with pulsed amplitude-modulation involves an array of n radiating elements, such as R1 whose outputs x1 are applied to complex weighters, such as WR1 and WI1. A summer SIGMA of the outputs of the weighters then delivers the output signal Y. The output signal Y and each of the input signals x1 are correlated. Then, among each of the complex correlation signals such as CR and CI, those are determined which have a real component/imaginary component ratio CR/CI whose presence factor versus time exceeds a predetermined threshold, with the aid of memories 46 and 47 and of the processing device 48. The weighting coefficients are then set, and stored in buffer memories 49 and 50, in order selectively to minimise the power contribution of these signals in the output signal. <IMAGE>
